New Forest Bike Project

New Forest Bike Project (NFBP) is a social enterprise – a registered Community Interest Company (CIC, number 10327640) which takes in unwanted bicycles and then repairs, restores and relocates them. We aim to help people from all walks of life get out on two wheels and for it to be an inclusive and fun experience. DON’T dump it, recycle your old bike! Scroll down further to contact us or click on the menu icon top right to find out more.

PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT a retail shop selling new bikes and new parts and don’t get involved in warranty/manufacturers servicing type work, if you need this there’s plenty of good shops in our area – try our friends at: Hargroves (Totton), Boost Bike Hub (Brockenhurst), New Forest Cycling (Burley), Woods Cyclery (Lyndhurst), Forge Cycleworks (Ringwood) or Primera (Bournemouth).

We are a small operation helped by volunteers so don’t have set opening hours – best make an appointment if you want to see us. Please also don’t leave donations outside the workshop if we are not there, they tend to go walkies. Just let us know first to arrange a time before making a trip. Thanks again!

Also, in light of the on-going COVID-19¬†situation, we are sticking to opening¬†BY APPOINTMENT ONLY & following government safe guidelines for the foreseeable future. We are still doing pickups/deliveries in the van taking appropriate precautions but only staying very local at the moment as things are so bonkers busy at the workshop and we’re not getting much time to escape.

HELP NEEDED – New Premises JANUARY 2022
Sadly ☹, it looks like our lovely New Milton workshop unit we have been using for the past 3 years may be being sold so we will have to find somewhere else for New Forest Bike Project in the next 3 months. If any of our users and supporters can help in any shape or form with this process, you have any leads etc, please do get in touch and we can give more information.
We have built a good reputation in New Milton (and New Forest and East Dorset beyond) and would like to stay in this area serving the community as we do. We need good accessibility for all & preferably close to the railway station which a lot of our visitors use. We require 50-100m2 floor area workshop/teaching space and parking for loading/unloading.
Thanks in advance for any support you can offer.
